Educational experience

In 1987, he entered Zhengzhou foreign language school and completed the junior and senior high school study. In 1992, he was selected as the captain of the National Physics Olympic training team.

In 1993, he entered the computer department of Peking University and obtained his master's degree. During his study, he won the title of "three good student model" and first-class scholarship for many times. He has served as monitor, President of student union of computer department, and Minister of Culture Department of student union of Peking University. He is the core member of the national 973 key scientific research project "Skynet search engine" and serves as the leader of the index and retrieval team.

In 2003, he entered Stanford Business School and obtained an MBA degree. During this period, he served as vice president of ACSSS, organized a large number of student activities in Stanford, and held many high-tech activities with a number of Silicon Valley Chinese organizations.

Entrepreneurial experience

In 2000, he gave up the full scholarship of seven American universities and became one of the seven founding swordsmen of Baidu. In Baidu, he was mainly responsible for the design and implementation of search engine. He led the technical team to turn Baidu search into the Chinese search engine with the most users in the world.

In 2005, he returned to China and founded KuWo music. Through a lot of product technology innovation, KuWo has become one of the largest online music platforms in China. Since 2014, KuWo has merged with kugou, ocean music and QQ music to become Tencent music entertainment group.

Investment incubation

We will create intelligent cornerstone capital and mainly invest in AI, consumption, education, medical care, entertainment and other fields. He has invested in artificial intelligence media Xinzhiyuan, children's photography platform Xiaogui Dangjia, robot exoskeleton company yrobot, intelligent education company Fanji technology, brain science research company neuralgalaxy, orthopedic intelligence company changmugu medical, etc. It has incubated AI medical imaging company Shenrui medical, AI fashion design company Shenshang technology, etc.

Educational activities

He participated in the establishment and director of the artificial intelligence innovation center of Peking University, and explored the combination of AI industry and the cultivation of AI innovative talents. He has set up a public course "artificial intelligence frontier and industry trends" in Peking University and Tsinghua University, and has influenced hundreds of thousands of artificial intelligence practitioners through live and online courses. He is a visiting professor at the National University of Singapore and offers a postgraduate course technology innovation and entrepreneurship.

He is currently the director of the Management Committee of Stanford Business School and vice chairman of Stanford Alumni Association in Beijing.
