Wang Fuling
Wang Fuling, born in Shanghai in 1925, is a famous Hong Kong composer. He graduated from Shanghai Guanghua University and later studied in Shanghai Conservatory of music. He died in Hong Kong in 1989.
Wang Fuling's main representative works include "my Chinese heart", "treasure tonight", "Nanping evening clock", "diamond", "no love" (1961), etc.
Early experience
Born in Shanghai in 1925, Wang Fuling is a famous Hong Kong composer.
After graduating from Shanghai Guanghua University, he went to Shanghai Conservatory of music to further study music.
Acting experience
In 1952, he moved to Hong Kong. In the early stage, he mainly composed pop music. He soon joined Shao's film company and dealt with many film songs and soundtracks, including dream of the red chamber (1961), legend of the White Snake (1962), Wang Zhaojun (1959), Yang Naiwu and cabbage (1962), Pan Jinlian (1963), Qiao Taishou's yuanyangpu (1963), shuangfengqiyuan (1963), butterfly cup (1963), baoliandeng (1963), Yumeiren (1964), Xixiangji (1964), sanguanyuan (1964), and hunduan NaI (1964) Tian (1965), nvxiucai (1965), Jinshiqing (1965), Xinchen sanwuniang (1966), one armed Dao (1967), one armed Dao King (1969), Sanxiao (1969), Jinyu Liangyuan Hongloumeng (1977), Xiaoao Jianghu (1978), almost became Shao's Royal composer. In a dream of Red Mansions, Wang Fuling tried to use the form and melody of Yue opera to compose Huangmei tune.
Wang Fuling's production is quite rigorous and has created many classic melodies. He won the special award for best theme song at the 9th Asia Pacific Film Festival. Songs are popular all over Southeast Asia and have been translated into many languages. Later, he won the best music award of the 11th Asia Pacific Film Festival for "blue and black" and "folk song love".
After leaving Shao, he worked in Jiahe, later quit the film circle, and died in 1989.
