Wang Xiao
Wang Xiao (1962-november 13, 2004), actor and director. He joined the army at the age of 18 and worked as a soloist in the song and dance troupe of Fujian provincial military region. After he changed his career, he started his acting career by chance. In the mid-1980s, he went to Hong Kong to develop and shoot more than 30 films and TV works. During that time, he also served as the program host of Chinese TV station of satellite TV. In 1989, he graduated from the Directing Department of Berkeley University and directed the film "six string Samurai" independently. In the 1990s, he became an independent director In the middle of his career, he studied at the New York Film Academy. In 2000, he came back to China and wrote, directed and acted in a TV series love card.
He died of liver cancer in Beijing on November 13, 2004. Before his death, he was still preparing to make the TV series promise.
