Yu Hanqiu

Yu Hanqiu, whose real name is Yu Weihong, male, Han nationality, was born in Shenyang on January 10. He studied painting since childhood and graduated from the Academy of fine arts. In 1994, he entered the film and television industry, engaged in art guidance, and later became a director. He was known as a cutting-edge film director by the media.

Personal experience

Hanqiu graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in his hometown of Shenyang in 1991 with the dream of becoming a painter and going to the society. His mother asked him to find a relationship and arranged his work in a cultural center in a district of Shenyang. This was an enviable institution at that time. In the cultural center, every day is just a cup of tea and a newspaper. There is nothing serious to do, that's all After two years of restless stay (in fact, Hanqiu didn't have a spare time to open a clothing store and work part-time as a designer in a foreign brand company, but he didn't find his own direction), the ambitious Hanqiu finally gave up his job and went to Beijing with 600 yuan. In the autumn of 1993, Hanqiu, who just came to Beijing, had no relatives or friends. When he was running out of 600 yuan, Hanqiu finally applied for a job of painting oil for westerners. He had been painting for nearly a year. When Hanqiu's oil paintings began to be recognized by the West and began to open up the international market, he resolutely quit his job. Han Qiu told reporters: I really want to be a painter and like painting oil, but real artistic creation should come from my heart. I can only be a craftsman (in an oil painting company) to paint for money every day. I don't want to be an oil painter.

Personal achievement

It was in the autumn of 1994, and a chance came. A friend filmed MV for a famous singer at that time and asked Hanqiu to help with some art guidance. This was Hanqiu's first step into the film and television industry. From then on, Hanqiu began his career as a film and television art director. Hanqiu said that he was lucky. As soon as he went on, he experienced the experience of Xie Jin's film "Opium War" (the film invested 70 million yuan, which was a blockbuster at that time), and then Hu Mei's TV drama "Yongzheng Dynasty". He started to be the leader of the art group formally in 1999, and began to be an independent art director, such as the movie "hero Zheng Chenggong" directed by Wu Ziniu, the TV series "night of the military harbor" and "early spring February", etc., which are his excellent works in the process of art guidance. "A soldier who doesn't want to be a general is not a good soldier." in this process, Hanqiu is not satisfied. He thinks that film is the art of director, and director is what he really wants to do. It's hard to imagine the difficulty of being a director. With his passion and his persistent pursuit of ideal, Hanqiu began to write his own script and pay attention to the work of director Hanqiu is determined to make his own film. Finally, in the autumn of 2005, Yu Hanqiu (also known as Yu Weihong at that time) successfully shot his first independent film "pie in the sky" (starring Wu Jing, Ma Su and other stars). The film "pie in the sky" was rated as one of the nine new Mandarin films in 2007, along with Jiang Wen's film "the sun also rises". Yu Dao began to be widely known as a cutting-edge film director in the media. Since then, Yu Hanqiu's film creation has become a source of inspiration. By October of this year, he has made nine films and a new year's Eve TV series (village network), which once ranked fourth in Liaoning satellite TV's ratings.

Personal evaluation

Yu Dao's more than a dozen films and TV works can be said to be of various types and themes, reflecting the lighthearted humor of small people and ordinary citizens; the high school students and teachers who are the first to explore the psychological adjustment of middle school students in China to reflect the reform of education system; the classic dream of Red Mansions; the complicated suspense in the Republic of China; and the discussion on the human nature of buying a daughter-in-law to reflect the backward situation in Western China College graduates with youth idols Among the films Han Qiu has made, the most noteworthy one is the film "jiulongpei", which is a dream of Red Mansions subject matter and needs profound literary skills.
