Legend of Dazhi - six March Asian Championship
Wang Zhizhi (6th session, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2009, 2011)
Many people think that Wang Zhizhi's tour of the Asian Basketball Championship started in 1997, but in fact, in 1995, Wang Zhizhi, under the orders of Jiang Xingquan, participated in the 18th Asian Basketball Championship in Seoul, South Korea, and won the championship. Since then, Wang Zhizhi has successively participated in the four Asian Championships in 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2009. If this Asian championship is included, Wang Zhizhi has also played in the Asian Championships for six times. Therefore, together with Gong Xiaobin and Sun Jun, Wang Zhizhi has become the second most frequent player in the history of Chinese men's basketball team.
From the youth of Zhuifeng in those years to the "middle age" of Zhuifeng today, years have left a lot of things on Dazhi, even if he is 34 years old, even if he falls from the peak to the trough and climbs from the trough to the peak. No one knows the oath he made with himself on this lonely and dark road, but everyone saw the calm and calm in his eyes when he stood on the Asian Championship for the sixth time. Although since his debut, he has never become the biggest man in the name of the Chinese men's basketball team - in the past 96 golden generation, he was only a young man; when he was really mature, Yao Ming took his place; when Yao Ming retired, Dazhi was also old, and Yi Jianlian was the backbone for the future. However, you can't deny that Wang Zhizhi is invisible and "the most important person" in the Chinese men's basketball team. Especially in the current national team, no one can replace him. Just as the number one opponent Iran's hadadi said: as long as there is Wang Zhizhi, the Chinese team is the strongest. This is Wang Zhizhi's last time to participate in the Asian championship. He has tried his best and the result is satisfactory. Let's cheer for him.
