Ye Shuo, whose real name is Zhao Shugen and pseudonym is ye Shuonan, Han nationality, is from Jinan, Shandong Province. Born in May 1933. CPC member, bachelor degree, research librarian title.

In his early years, he worked in the army. After 1979, he was engaged in Library and information work. He successively served as the leader of periodicals in the library of Beijing Normal University and the deputy director, director and researcher of the library of Shandong Academy of Arts. He retired in 1993. He once taught the course of "retrieval and utilization of art literature" and participated in the compilation of ancient books and the writing of scientific research projects. He has published many papers on strengthening information education in Colleges and universities and library modernization.
