Zhuang Kaixun
CATH Chuang, born on March 22, 1981 in Changhua City, Taiwan Province, is an actor from Taiwan, China. He graduated from the drama department of National Taipei University of the arts.
In 2005, he appeared in his first TV play "love old mountain line" and entered the entertainment circle. In 2006, he starred in his first film the beginning of a year. In 2010, he was shortlisted for the best supporting actor in the 45th Golden Bell Award mini series and the 15th Asian TV Festival in Singapore. In 2012, he was shortlisted for best supporting actor in the 49th Golden Horse Award for his movie season of migratory birds. In 2015, with two dramas "on the way home" and "traveling", he was also shortlisted for the 50th Golden Bell Award for TV and film actor of mini series. In 2016, he won the best supporting actor award in the 18th Taipei Film Festival for his film rookie.
On August 26, 2020, the TV play "the crime eater" starring in the show was shortlisted for the 55th TV Golden Bell Award Drama Program Award.
Acting experience
In 2005, he starred in his first TV play "love old mountain line" and played the role of "Liu Yinghui" in the play. In the same year, he starred in his first film the beginning of a year, in which he played an aviation policeman.
In 2010, he co starred with Yizheng in the contemporary drama breaking the waves, in which he played Hugh, who was jailed for taking drugs. With this film, he was shortlisted for the best supporting actor in the 45th Golden Bell Award mini series TV film and the supporting actor in the 15th Asian TV Festival drama in Singapore.
In September 2012, he co starred with Wen Shenghao and Liu Leyan in the drama season of migratory birds, in which he played Lin Jiaxiong, the younger brother of the leading actor Lin Jiamin, and was shortlisted for best supporting actor at the 49th Golden Horse Awards.
In February 2013, he co starred with Guo Shuyao, Yang qiankai and Kunling in the drama "ambition", in which he played a strict coach Guo; in March, he co starred with Chen Yirong, Wang Chuanyi and Xie Kunda in the idol drama "300 days of happiness", in which he played a surgeon in Grace Hospital.
