Xing Sijie

Xing Sijie, a Chinese American, was born on November 23, 1983. Actor, martial arts athlete, coach, world martial arts champion, 2009 World Martial Arts Championship fencing champion.

Personal experience

Xing Sijie is the second generation of South Bay Chinese. He was born and raised in San Jose, California. His parents are both Chinese immigrants from Taiwan. When he was 17, he went to UCLA to major in economics and performance.

In the 10th World Wushu Championships in Toronto, he won the first gold medal in fencing for the U.S. team in 20 years.

Xing Sijie, who loved action movies since childhood, began to learn martial arts when he was a child, and went to school while learning martial arts in the United States.

In 2006, after graduating from UCLA, Xing Sijie joined KPMG and city National Bank, the top 500 companies, to work in finance. In order to prepare for the world competition, Xing Sijie gave up his banking job.

In 2007, Xing Sijie participated in the U.S. wushu team trials and entered the candidate team. In June 2009, he participated in the 2009 US National Wushu Team Trials and won the first place in the United States in Changquan and fencing, becoming one of the ten members of the national team.

In 2009, Xing Sijie won the world martial arts Championships fencing champion.

He won the gold medal of fencing routine in the 10th World Wushu Championships in Canada. This is the first time that the U.S. team has won the gold medal in this category since the 10th tournament.

After the world competition, Xing Sijie worked and studied with Jet Li for more than a year. Have the opportunity to interact with artists, entrepreneurs and philanthropists. During this time, Xing Sijie came into contact with the one foundation team, Gates Foundation, Mr. Ma Yun, Alibaba group and US President Clinton;

Acting experience

Xing Sijie began to take part in stage performance from primary school, and his first performance was "cheese by the dozen". During his college years, Xing Sijie participated in the production of CSI crime scene investigation: New York in Hollywood and the warrior's death in Spike TV. After that, I went to Beijing Film Academy for one year.

In 2010, he took part in the White Snake Legend and played a disciple of Fahai.

At the beginning of 2011, he tried to do martial arts in China for many years.

At the end of 2011, as an actor and martial arts director, he shot "Yong Chun Xiao Long" starring Yuanhua.

In early 2012, she took part in "Wengu 1942", during which she practiced with American Oscar winner Adrian Brody in Chinese and English and communicated with director Feng Xiaogang.

In the middle of 2012, he took part in the series of "very lucky" and "very perfect" starring Zhang Ziyi and Wang Leehom.
