Zhang Yongxing
Zhang Yongxing, born in October 1961 in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, is a professor and doctoral supervisor of School of civil engineering, Chongqing University.
In recent years, more than 30 scientific research projects have been completed, with outstanding achievements in unloading nonlinear rock mechanics theory, complex rock foundation and slope stability analysis, mountain disaster prevention, geotechnical engineering intelligent system, interaction between urban underground engineering and adjacent buildings, tunnel engineering monitoring and stability research. He has completed 9 monographs, teaching materials and other works, published more than 100 papers, directed 38 doctoral students, enjoyed special subsidies from the State Council Government, and won four invention patents. It is also committed to the application of scientific research results in the field of practical engineering, achieving better economic and social benefits.
He died in Chongqing on the evening of September 29, 2013.
