Fu Chaowu

Fu Chaowu, a famous director from Changyi, Shandong Province, was born in a poor peasant family on February 1, 1922. In 1938, when studying in Changyi County, he joined the Eighth Route Army. The next year, he entered the drama department of Lu Xun art school in Yishui County and joined the Communist Party of China in the same year.

Personal life

In 1940, after graduating from "Luyi" in Yishui, he successively served as an actor of the army's literary and Art Troupe, leader of the propaganda team, lecturer of the Department of literature and art of East China University, and head of the literary and Art Troupe. Since 1942, he began to create dramas. His works have a strong earthy flavor, which can reflect the reality in a timely manner and are loved by the army and the people. Fu Chaowu died on October 26, 1992 at the age of 70.

Directing works

In 1951, he was the director of the translation group of Shanghai Film Studio, directing 15 translated films, including Shevchenko, Anna Karenina, the unyielding City, chuck and Gack. In 1955, I went to Beijing Film Academy to study as a director. After graduation, I became a director of Shanghai Film Studio. He has successively co directed happiness with nature, seaport with Xie Jin, and after the blue light with Gao Zheng. He has independently edited or directed more than ten films, such as letter in front, fragrance floating thousands of miles, chicken feather flying into the sky, by the Jinsha River, family problems and the legend of white snake. In the director's treatment of the film "Jinsha River", he made some new attempts in the use of empty lens, the expression of characters' feelings, and the rendering of local color, environment, and atmosphere; in "family problems", he tried to select the details rich in life to depict the characters' character, and strive to make the work's tendency to contain but not reveal; for the drama "White Snake", he has a strong sense of responsibility A lot of scenes in the film are shot by location and real scene, which makes a beneficial exploration on the combination of "virtual" and "real". After its release, the film was welcomed by the audience and won the excellent film award of the Ministry of culture in 1980 and the best feature film award of the fifth "Hundred Flowers Award" of "popular film" in 1982. When shooting the film "after the blue light" showing the Tangshan earthquake, he put forward strict requirements for special effects work, and for the first time vividly reproduced the earthquake moment on the screen. For a long time, he pursues fresh and bright artistic character, hoping that his works can be moved by emotion and give people a little aftertaste.
