Liang Xingbo
Liang Xingbo (1908-1981), whose father was Sheng Jiayue, the then Nanyang Cantonese Opera chief. At the age of 17, Liang Xingbo, who began to work on the stage, earned the title of "ugly king" in Cantonese opera. In 1950, he made his first film "approaching the old man to the flowers". Later, he performed business cards such as "Bachelor's marriage". He also founded film companies such as Liying and produced films such as "family love in the bitter sea". Although he seldom plays the leading role, uncle Bo is not only the pillar of xianfengming and xiaofengming of the Cantonese Opera Troupe, but also the founder of the longevity program happy tonight, bringing a lot of joy to the audience. He invited Liang Xingbo to join. Liang Xingbo thought it was a good opportunity, so he went to Hong Kong with his wife and daughter. In 1939, he performed in Hong Kong. After the Japanese army occupied Hong Kong, he moved to the mainland. After Chongguang of Hong Kong, he and his partner Tan Lanqing organized the huajinxiu troupe. As a result of his fat body, he changed his role to ugliness, which led to the birth of an ugliness king in Cantonese opera. And successively performed in "xianfengming", "dalongfeng" and "xiaofengming" troupes, known as "ugly king". He was born with the ability to amuse, and his gag had come to an end. In Hong Kong, Liang Xingbo, Ren Jianhui and Bai Xuexian performed the famous plays "Peony Pavilion", "Purple hairpin", "butterfly shadow and red pear" and "rebirth of red plum" in xianfengming opera company. From 1950 to 1977, he starred in or participated in nearly 400 Cantonese films. He also founded film production companies such as Li Ying and Dafeng. In 1967, he also hosted a large-scale comprehensive radio TV program "happy tonight", which was very popular with the public. He has served as the fourth president and the second president of the Cantonese Opera Bahe club. In 1977, she was awarded the MBE by the queen. She was the first Hong Kong artist to receive the MBE. On April 13, 1977, the governor of Hong Kong, sir MacLehose, presented the MBE to Liang Xingbo on behalf of the queen to show his artistic achievements.
Liang Xingbo's philosophy of life is very simple. He doesn't have to worry too much about getting along with people.
