essential information
Early experience
In 1949, Hu Yihu's father, 23-year-old Hu Qilian, left his hometown. He left his hometown in Tongcheng, Anhui Province, passed through Shanghai and the Pacific Ocean, and arrived in Kaohsiung, Taiwan Province. He settled down in the "family village". Kaohsiung's dependents live in the provinces of Chinese mainland that followed Kuomintang to Taiwan. They are known as mainlanders by Taiwan natives, so they are destined to be a group of people looking for identity. On August 19, 1967, when his wife was about to give birth, she took a taxi to the hospital. Before reaching her destination, the baby was born. Hu Qilian, 42, named Yao'er Hu Yihu.
In a closed and poor environment, Hu Yihu spent a happy childhood with his four elder brothers and sisters under the careful education and care of his parents. As a child, he liked to talk and debate. Under the exercise of his father's "talking together in the Hu family", he got the enlightenment training as a host later.
Waterloo: a university graduate
In order to cultivate his youngest son, his parents took out a large amount of hard-earned money they had saved and sent Hu Yihu to Daoming middle school, a famous local noble school. However, Hu Yihu, who has always been confident and talkative, experienced three years of suppressed "Aphasia" and youth here for the first time. After the self regression of high school, Hu Yihu was admitted to the Department of mass communication of Fu Jen University, a famous university in Taiwan, with excellent results. However, this major was not favored by people in the era of focusing on engineering at that time. In his junior year, Hu Yihu broke the rules for the first time in his life. He lied about his age and was admitted to the "CCTV" of Taiwan's three major TV stations at that time. However, when he graduated from university and formally applied for the three major TV stations, he encountered Waterloo and was eliminated in the interviews of "CCTV" and "Taiwan TV". At the critical moment, his father seized the last opportunity for him to apply for the examination - "Huashi" examination, and encouraged him not to be discouraged. In the end, Hu Yihu entered the "China TV" and began his media career.
It took Hu Yihu a full decade to establish his position in Taiwan's television circle, from a little journalist running news to the anchor of many programs. Who would have thought that a little reporter from Taiwan TV station had an exclusive interview with the newly elected South African President Mandela at the time of the South African election; who would have thought that the newcomer who was called "thin as amphetamine" when he first appeared on the anchor station was later named "the sexiest male anchor in Taiwan" by fashion magazines and was sought after by many female audiences.
However, when Hu Yihu was faced with a more brilliant future, he made an unexpected decision. To leave Taiwan and join Phoenix means that he will face a completely strange environment, give up his past fame and fortune, and start from scratch. In the three months since the establishment of Phoenix information station, Hu Yihu did not have his own program. He shuttled through the news broadcast in different time periods with many colleagues every day. For 24 hours in a row, like an "artist" in the world, he keeps going to various places to catch up with the market. This incomparable busyness is the "meeting gift" given to him by Phoenix.
After experiencing the unpopular stage of "big brand" newcomers, Hu Yihu finally has a chance to try his hand. "Media platter" is his first major daily program after he entered Phoenix. If "Phoenix global link" gives him the perspective of viewing the world and communicating with the world from the platform of global Chinese, then "China" has the opportunity to understand China, understand Chinese culture, and write the "macro pattern" of the intersection of career, family and himself. And the program that really makes Hu Yihu show himself and enjoy himself is "one tiger one seat talk". He uses simple questions to lead to natural and wonderful dialogues. He is like a soldier in the battlefield, enjoying the pleasure of victory brought by the ideological confrontation.
I am new Chinese
From Taiwan's dependents to Hong Kong's Phoenix, from Hong Kong's Phoenix to the capital Beijing, from Beijing to the provinces of the motherland, Hu Yihu is constantly exploring his own sense of identity: Taiwanese? Hong Kong citizen? Mainlanders? He wants to tell everyone who wants to know the answer: "I am new Chinese." What the new Chinese have is "a pure heart, a right view", and a tolerant view of the tragedy of history and life. The new Chinese will no longer divide us by region, by ideology or by the sorrow of history.
As Hu Yihu wrote in his book, "when I can only be a Chinese in the concept of region, I will never be separated from the land of China; when I am a new Chinese, I can turn into a global person with boundless vision, and do my best for my own country, for the country of others, and for the well-being of the whole mankind. Connected with my own professional advantages, when I am connecting with the world point-to-point with the face and bearing of new Chinese and the vast wings of Phoenix, I can spread the light of Chinese people and let thousands of ethnic groups in the world enjoy the mellow beauty of Chinese culture. "
In 2007, Hu Yihu spent his 40th birthday, which also triggered his understanding of life. In who am I, he sums up the past four decades. At the same time, who am I also expresses Hu Yihu's nostalgia for his dead father. Hu Yihu said, "when my father gave me life and brought me to the world, he gave me two most solemn gifts:" the ability to fight "and" the grace to let. ". It is these two kinds of gifts that make Hu Yihu not give up or complain when he is in a difficult time, always adhere to it silently, strive when he should strive for it, and endure when he should tolerate it, and finally reach the highest point of news and the success of his life. Now, Hu Yihu, who is over 40 years old, still sticks to the two most precious gifts given by his father: "the ability to fight" and "the demeanor to let".
The most unforgettable interview with Mandela
In 1994, South Africa held the first multi-ethnic election in history, and the most popular one was the black leader Mandela. However, many opposition elements in South Africa often create explosions, and going to interview may be used as "cannon fodder" to sacrifice their lives. At this time, Hu Yihu's father said: "where the danger is, where the opportunity is. Going to South Africa is your opportunity."
Shortly after arriving in South Africa, Hu Yihu received news that Mandela would appear in another city, Durban. At this time, there is an opportunity to interview the then white president, Derek. If he flies to Durban and fails to interview Mandela, it means that he will lose both ends. Mandela came to the piazza of Durban to deliver a speech. At that time, there were 250000 people in the square, and it was almost impossible to get close to Mandela. Hu Yihu was eager to get wisdom and mixed into the crowd of performing arts. When he saw Mandela passing in the direction of his own crowd, Hu Yihu boldly took out the microphone and yelled in local dialect, "God bless South Africa, long live Mandela." When Mandela saw a yellow faced Oriental greeting him in vernacular, he immediately became excited and came over to hold Hu Yihu's hand tightly. After that, Hu Yihu asked Mandela, who was going to become the first black president in South Africa's history, in his already familiar English. Mandela also gave a positive response. It was this interview that made us know Hu Yihu, remembered this reporter full of courage and wisdom, and made Hu Yihu go to the peak of his life.
Hu Yihu questions Premier Li Keqiang
On the morning of March 17, 2013, after the closing of the first session of the 12th National People's Congress, Premier Li Keqiang met with Chinese and foreign journalists and answered their questions in the Golden Hall of the Great Hall of the people. Hu Yihu, the host of Phoenix Satellite TV, asked the premier a question, which aroused heated discussion among netizens. The questions and answers are as follows.
Hu Yihu: Hello, premier. Just now I noticed a detail. When you answered all the questions of the media industry, your hands gestured more than 30 times. This scene impressed me deeply. It reminds me of the confidence and wisdom you showed when you interviewed the governor of Henan province 11 years ago In addition, I would like to say that I am also a native of Anhui Province, but I am a Chinese media person who was born in Taiwan, works in Hong Kong and has been shuttling across the Taiwan Strait for more than 10 years. The people around me are eager to have a better understanding of you. Could you take this opportunity to talk about your personal feelings from the lowest level to the highest level in your political career? Thank you, Prime Minister.
Li Keqiang: just now, Mr. reporter reminded me that if people pay more attention to gestures, they will not pay much attention to the content of my answers. However, the three problems you just mentioned are easy to arouse my emotion.
I remember visiting Hong Kong the year before last and announcing a series of policies of the central government to support the prosperity of Hong Kong and promote the deepening cooperation between the two places. It is very vivid to compare it to a "big gift package". However, the dry goods of this "big gift bag" need to be opened one by one in order to make good use of them. It still needs the joint efforts of both sides. Now it has achieved some results, and the central government will try its best to promote it.
When I visited Hong Kong, I deeply felt that Hong Kong under "one country, two systems" is full of vitality, Hong Kong compatriots are industrious and intelligent, Hong Kong society is inclusive, open and full of vitality, and there is still a lot of room for cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong. The central government will make every effort to do anything that is conducive to the well-being of Hong Kong and Macao compatriots, the deepening of cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao, and the maintenance of the long-term prosperity of Hong Kong and Macao.
When you ask about your personal experience, you also talk about Anhui. I used to be an educated youth in Fengyang, Anhui Province. I can't forget the hard time I spent with my villagers. At that time, it was a famous poor place in China's rural areas, and also a post-war place
