Ye Xiangyun
Ye Xiangyun, formerly known as Jia?. A drama actor. He is from Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. He used to be an actor of six anti enemy drama teams. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1949. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he successively served as the actor and head of Hunan dialect troupe, the third and fourth directors of China Drama Association, and vice chairman of Hunan Branch. He is a deputy to the third National People's Congress. In 1956, he won the second prize of the first national drama performance. He plays a major role in thunderstorm, red storm and Sino Japanese naval battle.
Ye Xiangyun, former vice chairman of the Chinese Dramatists Association, former vice chairman of the provincial Dramatists Association, famous drama artist and retired cadre at the deputy department level, died of illness in Changsha on February 11, 2010 at the age of 92. Comrade Ye Xiangyun was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, in November 1917. He joined the Anti Japanese national salvation drama team led by the underground Party of the Communist Party of China in 1937. He joined the Communist Party of China in July 1949 and retired in 1985.
