Rehearsal stills of drama "there"
"Fate is like this, it always does not let you feel, it gives you everything you desire, at the same time, it always smears filth on those things." In a word, it points out the keynote of the play there. At present, the drama "there" has been performed in the PLA opera house. Previously, the reporter followed the crew to visit the final stage of rehearsal.
The drama "there" is adapted from Wang Haiping's novel of the same name. It tells the story of Xu Guan, an official full of innocence and passion. Because of his incompatibility with the surrounding environment, he is always regarded as "sick". Xu Guan found that the world was not as simple as he thought. By a coincidence, he wandered to a psychological clinic called "there" to pour out his heart and "take a breath", which led to drastic changes in real life
During the rehearsal, the main actors show you two scenes of the play.
In the first scene, Xu Guan is in hot pursuit of a cultural project, but he is splashed with cold water by his versatile secretary, Lao Guo. Lao Guo tells Xu Guan to think more about his own interests and "how to always fight with the leaders". Finally, he can only say "sick".
The second play "three forks" is the climax of the whole play. Xu Guan met Lu Moyan, a female journalist in "there". Lu Moyan expressed his love for Xu Guan at the wrong time and place. This action immediately aroused the anger of his girlfriend Chang Qianqian, who has been together for seven years. The three quarreled and argued powerlessly, but in the end they only left a mess.
"The novel has a lot of information and deep content. We want to present the plight of people in contemporary society and the state of people's depression in the form of relatively simple stories." Wang Dong, director of the drama, said that the drama only displays several possibilities for people when they are in trouble, and does not give a definite answer, leaving it for the audience's imagination.
Screenwriter Cai Jinru told reporters that in order to better meet the stage performance, the script adapted some of the psychological activities in the original novel, adding to the storytelling, but the core content of the novel was retained.
Jing Songtao, the actor of Xu Guan, believes that Xu Guan is a very tangled character. "In fact, he is a man of understanding. But his understanding cannot be understood by others. " In order to play this role well, Jing Songtao must also "tangle" every day.
In the two plays, whenever the protagonist is lost in thought, there will always be a "Little Swan" dancing with the music. "The role of" Little Swan "represents the purity of people's heart." Wang Dong explained that Xu Guan is a man who pursues simplicity and purity in his heart, and ballet is very consistent with simplicity and purity in temperament. Therefore, the cast adopts the form of ballet to show the ups and downs of the protagonist's inner emotions.
Wang Haiping, the author of the original novel there, also came to the rehearsal. "The creation of novels is mainly placed in the contemporary society, showing people's conflicts in ideas and life." He said that the conflicts in the novel are mainly in four aspects, including the ultimate problems of life such as love, fame and wealth, power and life and death. "People want to pursue their spiritual home, so it's called" there "in the novel, and the process of pursuing spiritual home is expressed in this novel."
After watching the rehearsal, Wang Haiping said that he liked the expression of the young crew very much, calling it the "youth version" of "there".
