Early experience
In 1984, he worked in Xinhua Bookstore in Shapingba District. Because of his love for art, he constantly participated in various kinds of performances and competitions. At the end of 1991, he was admitted to the cultural troupe of the Tibet Military Region. Shapingba District, as a talented person, assigned him to the cultural center of Shapingba District to manage the square story activity with traditional history. The square story activity was named Chongqing characteristic cultural base by Chongqing Municipal Bureau of culture.

Personal life
Ling Lin was born in a family of folk arts. Her parents are both local folk arts performing artists. But when she was very young, because of family reasons, Ling Lin left her parents and lived with her grandmother.
