"Paper rose" is Lin Yusheng's first album. Although the tonality of the songs in the album is mainly lyrical, the melody presents a diversified style, which also makes Lin Yusheng's voice more abundant. The main song "paper rose", composed by Jian Weizheng, depicts a love story with a light Reggae style, but with a sense of awakening. For example, "if you don't care" in Xiangsong style, "news of love" in light and full of summer flavor, "your words" in folk song like style, and "see myth again" in classical Chinese style, all kinds of different styles are interlaced, so that the audience can feel different changes and surprises at each turning point. Yue Xun, who has written Li Peijing's "I love the moon" and Gao Lingfeng's "dimples of girls", is famous for creating strange songs. In his album, there is also a song "bamboo in a dream" with fluctuating scales and extremely special melody arrangement. Lin Yusheng interprets the song by changing the tone, which is a strange song in the album. The CCTV 8:00 series "big law enforcement", starring Cui Haoran and Zhou Shaodong, tells the story of honest and upright officials running Eucalyptus. In 1985, another song composed by Jian Weizheng, "wandering in the end of the earth," was renamed "Ao Xiao Jiang lake," which became the theme song of the same name series of CCTV 8:00 and was included in Lin Yusheng's third album.
