Hong Kong opera period
After dropping out of school at the age of 15, Leung had worked as a newsboy, accountant, and handyman. Introduced by his good friend Stephen Chow, he was admitted to the "Hong Kong TVB artistes training class" in 1982 and became a TV actor, officially entering the performing arts industry. In 1983, he graduated from the 11th art training class of Hong Kong TVB. After graduation, he became a wireless artist and presided over the children's TV program 430 shuttle of TVB jade. The first drama to be officially performed is "the prodigal son of Xiangcheng".
In 1984, Tony Leung became famous for his role as Trinket in Jin Yong's martial arts drama Lu Ding Ji, and his starring role in the TV series Xinzha elder martial brother was well known to the audience.

Film period

In 2000, he starred in the movie in the mood for love directed by Wong Kar Wai, playing the role of Zhou Muyun. Personal life
Tony Leung met Zeng Huaqian in 1983. He fell in love with Zeng Huaqian at first sight, who is still in the training class for TVB artists. He praised her for her innocence and cooperated with many works. With the development of their respective careers and the conflict of their personalities, they had no fate after six years of separation and combination. Their relationship broke up for the third time in mid-1988 and ended irretrievably.
In the middle of 1986, Tony Leung met Li Meixian when he filmed the story of killing the Dragon by relying on heaven. After the drama was finished, Liang Chaowei pursued Li Meixian. They had an open relationship from mid-1986 to 1988, and broke up after they finished filming "two conceits of the peerless generation.".
