Ge Xiaobao, born on February 2, 1939, is an actor.

Basic introduction

Ge Xiaobao's father is famous actor Ge Xiangting. After graduating from Yining middle school, he once worked as a film projectionist. In 1963, he began his acting career by taking part in the filming of "marriage of folk songs" and "family of raising crows". He is fat and has been in film for more than 20 years. Most of his characters are licorice. His humorous image is deeply rooted in the hearts of fans.

After 1980's, he moved to TV station for development. He once hosted variety shows such as "tonight, tonight", often performed short plays in the programs, and became the basic actor of China television. Ge Xiaobao, known as a patriotic artist, not only enthusiastically participated in the activities of laboring and comforting overseas Chinese, but also actively joined the homes of the veterans and the caring services for the elderly. On July 30, 2000, he died of renal adenocarcinoma in Taipei Veterans General Hospital. He was 62 years old.
