Early experience
Wu left his parents when he was 12 and moved in with his grandmother. After that, he went to the UK to study alone and began to contact with stage plays. During this period, he not only worked in front of and behind the stage, but also became a stage director. After completing the British preparatory course, Wu Qihua originally intended to take the university architecture course. When he learned about the enrollment of the wireless artists training class, he decided to return to Hong Kong to apply for the examination.
Acting experience
In 1982, Wu Qihua participated in TVB's 12th training class for artists, thus officially entering the performing arts circle.
