In the long march of the first and fourth front army of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army, he returned without success; in the fierce war of resistance against Japan, he accompanied Hu zongnan to fight in Songhu, Wuhan, Henan, Xuzhou and other places, vowed to defend Hu's safety, and made many miraculous achievements; at the critical historical turning point of the Chinese revolution, he abandoned the dark to the light, joined the revolutionary camp, and dived alone He entered the enemy occupied area of Wudu, instigated against Kuomintang generals, and promoted the peaceful liberation process of Wudu and Xigu. His legendary life with twists and turns condensed all the contents of the vicissitudes of old China and the construction and development of new China.
Miserable childhood
In 1917 (the sixth year of the Republic of China), China was poor and weak after many vicissitudes. There were many droughts in Guanzhong area for years. People in Wudu were displaced. Local ruffians, beggars and bandits flooded the streets. The Hui army, Sichuan army and central army came and went. The people of Wudu recruited strong men and shared military provisions every month. The people could not bear the burden and lived in the mountains. At this time, Chen Ziping was born in a poor farmer's family on the South Bank of Liangshui in Wudu.
Three months after Chen Ziping was 8 years old, his mother took poison and died. His grandfather and grandmother also died of poverty and illness. His father gave his little daughter to relatives and sold Chen Ziping to a Wang family in Zhangzhuang, Puchi. Soon his younger brother came to him. Three years later, one day, when they were herding sheep, Chen Ziping and his brother were attacked by wolves. The wolves ate five sheep. Although they tried their best to protect themselves, they escaped by chance, but they were afraid of being blamed by their owners. They fled back to their hometown of tumenya. When they returned to the village, they found that their houses and property had been pawned by their father for a long time, and their father also disappeared. The two brothers were hungry, cold and lonely, struggling in the edge of suffering Along.
Join the army for a living
In June 1932, Zhang Guotao, Li Xiannian, and Xu Xiang, the four front armies of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army, moved in northern Sichuan. In order to prevent the Red Army from going north, Hu zongnan led the first division of the Kuomintang army to Tianshui to defend the counties in southern Gansu and Guangyuan in Sichuan. Chen Ziping, 15, failed to find his father in the city. However, he heard that Li Yunzhang's Department of the sixth regiment of the second brigade of the Hu tribe was hoarding grain to recruit soldiers in Wudu. Chen Ziping, who had no way out, was determined to become a soldier and earn a living. When he returned to the village, he asked his good friend Chen Zhaozhao to join the army. After three months of training in Wudu, this group of 300 recruits left for Tianshui. Chen's father only showed up before they left. Chen Ziping, a young man, waved away with his father in a sad mood.
Chen Ziping, the commander of the South military department, was specially assigned to the post of commander of the South military department. Because most of the boy scouts came from poor families, cherished the opportunity to fight, had simple social background, and practiced hard. After three years of training, 18-year-old Chen Ziping, with excellent shooting skills, agile skills and loyal personality, was lucky to be selected as the adjutant of the division to serve as the guard of Hu zongnan's entourage Hu zongnan loved the work of order, safety and vigilance because he was down-to-earth, hardworking and smart. He took charge of Hu's life for a long time.
Encircle and suppress the Red Army
In February 1935, Hu zongnan's first division was organized into the second column of the Third Route Army (later changed to the second column of the first Route Army). Hu zongnan was the commander of the column and led his troops to Huixian, Lueyang, Yangpingguan, Bikou, Qingchuan, Pingwu and Songpan to intercept the red army's first front army on the long march to the north and find the main force of the Red Army. In this important military operation, young Chen Ziping was responsible for Hu zongnan's daily life and armed security. In June, Hu zongnan division was stationed in Songpan, Hu Shouxian of the third Buchong regiment served as the guard, and Li riji of the second Buchong regiment was stationed in Maoergai Lama Temple, which was suddenly surrounded by the Red Army and almost the whole battalion was destroyed. The second Buchong regiment fought with the Red Army in Songpan, Lazikou and baozuo, and was strongly attacked by Zhang Guotao's department. More than half of the losses were caused. Hu and his guards were also trapped in baozuo of the Red Army During the siege, the rest of the troops were also greatly reduced due to long-distance attacks. The soldiers of each company were reduced from more than 100 at the time of departure to 20-30. Because the outpost troops were raided by the Red Army and the division headquarters were exposed, Chen Ziping and other guards accompanied Hu zongnan to withdraw to Shawan (now Shawan Town, Dangchang county) along the Nanping gaheba line. After a week's rest, they went to Tianshui Wushan for training. Chen Ziping had unforgettable memories of the hardships of the encirclement and suppression, the dangerous environment and the difficulties of the army's supplies. Therefore, he often lamented the brave and indomitable fighting style of the Red Army.
In April 1936, Chen Ziping's army was officially listed as the first army. Hu zongnan was personally the commander of the army. The guard and the Secretary Office of the general headquarters were moved to the big goose pagoda and the Small Goose Pagoda in Xi'an. Hu zongnan lived in No.1 dongcangmen in Xi'an and the "official residence" of Xiamaling in Han Dynasty. The barracks of the "bodyguard" and the Secretary Office of the general headquarters were all located in xiaozhongli at the root of dongcangmen. Hu zongnan's bodyguard team consists of two armed platoons and one plain clothes platoon. The age, appearance and dress of these guards are similar to Hu. Chen Ziping, as the special agent who specializes in the interior affairs of Hu's life, receives the salary at qinglongling and the adjutant's office at the same time. During the later Anti Japanese War, due to the shortage of materials, many personal necessities (including underwear, American revolver, etc.) of Hu were brought by Dai Li from Chongqing and handed over to Hu himself by Xi'an juntong. Hu handed these items to Chen Ziping for safekeeping.
