Character evaluation
Every photography director will have his own photography style. If a photographer is compared to a brand, his photography style is the logo representing the brand, and shaodan's logo is the obvious color block and clean light. In the films "secret agent Amira" and "Fuchun Mountain Residence", it shows that Shao Dan is a very stylized and recognizable photographer (Tencent Entertainment review).
In the film "village opera", Shao Dan gives it black-and-white images, camera movements full of ritual sense, and partial color retention with symbolic meaning in some segments, which are different from the same type of films pursuing "reality", thus making the whole film more allegorical. Gorgeous, aesthetic image style, his image is "aggressive", strong expression. As a professional cinematographer, Shao Dan can accurately find a suitable photographic language system for a film to assist the development of narrative. He has accumulated many years of photographic experience, which also gives him the ability to control the "heat" of overall cinematography and the creation of local details (film art review).
