Zhang Qian, male, born on September 15, 1935 (lunar calendar), Han nationality, is from Xinjin, Liaoning Province. Professor of musicology, doctoral supervisor and director of Musicology Research Institute of Central Conservatory of music; member of theoretical Committee of Chinese Musicians Association; vice president of national music aesthetics society, President of national music psychology society; editorial board member of music research and Journal of Central Conservatory of music.

Zhang Qian was transferred to the theory department of China Conservatory of music in 1964. He has been a lecturer, associate professor and professor since 1973. In the teaching and scientific research posts, he has made great efforts for the teaching and scientific research of musicology and the cultivation of new forces in China, and has made achievements.
Teaching achievements
For a long time, he has been engaged in the courses of "Fundamentals of music aesthetics", "aesthetics of music performance", "appreciation of famous music performances" and "history and current situation of Musicology" (part of music aesthetics), which are the first courses of our college and national music colleges, and the teaching materials are all compiled by himself. The courses offered are welcomed by students, and are one of the courses with the largest number of electives. At the same time, he served as the tutor of undergraduate, master and doctoral students in the Department of musicology, and cultivated many outstanding graduates.

Awards
In 1993, my teaching group of music aesthetics won the first prize of excellent teaching achievements of national colleges and universities. I am one of the main members of this teaching group.
