Wang Zilong

Wang Zilong (1907-1941), also known as Wang Xuechang, male, was born in Baoding, Hebei Province. Famous film director, actor and screenwriter. In 1926, he joined China Lily film company as a set designer. In the same year, he took part in films transparent Shanghai and cohabitation love. In 1928, he directed his first work a woman in Shanghai. Later, he worked with his brother Wang Bolong and Wang Yuanlong to build the Sanlong company and make famous martial arts films such as "four swordsmen of Wang family". In 1931, he moved to Lianhua and made the film "soul of freedom". Since then, he has directed films such as "return to me" for great wall, Yihua and other film companies. He has set up his own cilong studio. In 1941, his brother Wang Yuanlong died when he went to Hong Kong to set up Xinghai film company. He was only 34 years old and died of drug overdose.
