Han Yan, born in Pingyin County, Jinan City, Shandong Province on November 16, 1983, is a male director and screenwriter in mainland China. He graduated from the film and Television Department of Central Academy of drama, majoring in directing.
In 2002, he directed his first film "five good, one bad, one good", thus starting his career as a director. In 2006, he won the best short film director award of the University Film Festival for his short film "cover". In 2009, he directed the love movie let me count on the score for you. In 2012, he won the best new director award of the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival and the 9th film channel Media Award for his love film the first time. In 2015, with the love comedy "go away! Tumor King won the Golden Angel award in the 11th China US film festival and competed for the best foreign language film in the 88th Academy Awards on behalf of mainland China. In 2017, he directed the film animal world. On June 29, 2018, he won the "best director" award of China film week of the 31st Tokyo Film Festival for his film "animal world". Acting experience
