Early experience
Zhao kui'e was born in Yantai City, Shandong Province in 1956. She loved sports since childhood. Swimming and playing table tennis are her strengths. In 1974, encouraged by her neighbors, she applied for Shanghai Academy of drama and Central Academy of drama. At the same time, she received the admission notice from the two schools. Finally, she chose Central Academy of drama. After graduating from the performance Department of the Central Academy of drama in 1978, she was admitted to the performance teacher class of the Academy for further study.
