Tang Congsheng graduated from the drama department of the National Academy of Arts (now National Taipei University of Arts) in 1996. He has performed in performing workshops, green light troupe and other groups. He is famous for imitating Li Ao and Chen Shui Bian in Zhongtian TV's variety show. In 2000, he was promoted from director Zhu Yanping to eight major TV stations to participate in the program "son of Taiwan". The program's interior decoration "Chen Shui plaque" is lifelike. When Chen Shui Bian came to power, he was once known as "Tang a Bian".

Tang Congsheng has only one role to play in the big stuffy cauldron, which is "cruel role - Li Ao". Tang Congsheng is one of the best variety show hosts of the new generation. Pneumothorax incident

In March 1999, Tang Congsheng went to the General Hospital of the three armed forces for medical treatment about 10 days before the performance of the stage play thirteen point relationship in the performance workshop. He was diagnosed with pneumothorax and needed to be hospitalized immediately for surgery. Because the thirteen Jiao relationship is about to be officially performed, Tang Congsheng asked the doctor if he could wait for his performance to be finished before surgery. The doctor told him that if he left the hospital now, he might not even be able to go on stage. On September 29, 2017, when Xu Nailin, a senior host from Taiwan, China, was recording the Chinese TV program "genius chongchong" two days ago, he was dissatisfied with the younger generation's video playing and fishing, and his speech was sour and impolite. He scolded the guest Tang Congsheng (Congsheng) at the video scene, which was recorded by the staff on the scene and uploaded to the website, causing an uproar. Two days later, Xu Nailin said that he was "no longer angry" after precipitation. However, he admitted that there was no possibility to be in the same frame with Tang Congsheng in the future. Later, Xu Nailin asked: "many younger generation artists are mixing up in videos. Shouldn't I scold them?"

After the outbreak of the incident, many netizens pointed out that Xu Nailin "had a bad temper originally", while his partner Zeng Guocheng clarified for him: "it's rare these years, and he won't scold me.
