Character evaluation
Kim Han min is a director who is very familiar with Korean history and good at making ancient costume. He has many successful films. (comment by actor Andy Lau) he has become a famous and powerful director in South Korean film circles with his works such as "the killing of blissful island" and "the final weapon: bow". (comments by information times) in the murder of the island of bliss, Jin Hanmin created a new path, brewing a terrifying and relatively gentle "humor temperament", peeping at the fate of the country and life in the joys and sorrows of the little people and the island of bliss. (Sohu Entertainment review) the "battle of Ming Liang" directed by him restores the battle of "battle of Ming Liang" in which the Korean national hero Li shunchen saved the country from crisis. The 61 minute sea battle scene in the film is highly visible under the careful layout of Jin Hanmin. (Sohu Hanyu review) the success of "battle of Ming Liang sea" has a lot to do with director Jin Hanmin. As a director with strong box office appeal in Korean film industry, he has a deep research on audience's preference for watching movies. (Sohu Entertainment review) he made a historical event very clear. There's nothing fancy about it, focusing on how to win an impossible battle. It's a bit strange, but Kim has compiled a convincing logic. (comments by Fei Yong, a Chinese scholar)
