Kearen
Peng Xiuhui, female, born in Hong Kong, China on February 11, is a Hong Kong Theatre creative actor. She is also a cross media artist who is rarely involved in editing, directing, acting, teaching and writing. Her style is humorous and her feelings are delicate. In recent years, with her independent intellectual image, she has been active in various media circles in Hong Kong.
In April 2018, with 29 + 1, he won the new director award of the 37th Hong Kong Film Awards.
Acting experience
After graduating from the performance Department of the Theatre School of the Hong Kong Academy for performing arts, kearen joined the Sino British theatre company as a full-time actor, performing on many stages, and was twice nominated for the best actress award of the stage drama award of the Hong Kong Theatre Association. After leaving the group in 2003, kearen began to set foot in different fields of art, including the creation and administration of theatrical film performance. In 2005, kearn founded kearn Pang production, which is dedicated to promoting performing arts, popularizing stage culture and creating stage performances belonging to Hong Kong. It focuses on modern theater forms, aiming to bring stage performances close to life and touching the heart for Hong Kong audiences. With its unique performance form of body and music, the stage performance is truly moving and emotional, which has moved the hearts of many Hong Kong audiences. It has created and produced five theatre works, which has accumulated more than 60000 audiences.
In 2005, he published his first self-directed and self acting work 29 + 1, in which one actor acted as Lin Ruojun and Huang Tianle, describing the mentality of girls entering their thirties with a warm response. Later, it was performed again in May and August 2006, with the fourth and fifth premieres in 2008, and the sixth premiere in 2010, with 16 performances full again. In September 2010, the play was invited by Meng Jinghui, a famous theater director in Beijing, to participate in the "2010 Beijing International Youth Drama Festival" with three performances, which won a warm response from mainland audiences. In April 2011, the Seventh Party entered the Opera House of the Academy of performing arts, with a brand-new production and a full explosion of ten performances. In June, it was invited to perform five performances in the Macao Cultural Center, all of which were full again. The total cumulative number of performances was 79, with an audience of more than 34000 people, making it the most popular female student solo show in the local area.
In 2007, he created his second personal theater work goodbye or not, which is still a girl's story: a children's novel writer remembered a once unforgettable friendship because he accidentally heard a name. After two performances in Shouchen theater, the response was like a tide. In 2009, he moved to the Opera House of the Academy for performing arts and performed in the opera house for three times, which was well received. In 2008, kearen and multiple creators Celie Mei jointly created "the actor who never sleeps". From a girl's point of view, kearen expressed the worries of the city people who never sleeps. From a sleepless peep to a lovelorn insomnia, kearen created a local girl dongduxiao performance which is rarely sexy and emotional.
The third personal theatre work "man under the moon" in 2009 is a story about dreams. The heroine Li Lishan grows up, even though she has experienced the failure of her dream again and again, she still wants to fly to the moon with courage. Peng Xiuhui, who premiered in the Opera House of the Academy for performing arts and repeated in Kwai Tsing theatre and Yuen Long theatre, once again won a lot of public praise for her exquisite story description and rich stage visual effects. Her performance was even called "a personal poem of a year's flow" by drama critics.
In 2010, KPP performed for the first time in the American translation comedy "Dianjie holding the dog", supervised by kearn and playing Sylvia, together with local star lineups Li Zhenzhou, Liu Yali, Lin Zequn and Lu Zhishen, presenting a story about marriage and pets, a story about love and sharing for the drama fans. All the six performances were full, and they were selected as the "top 10 most popular Productions" of the 20th Hong Kong Stage Drama Awards, which was repeated in the summer of 2011.
Kearen also holds an adult drama course - acting living, a course about life and mind. Following "the man under the moon", "goodbye" and "29 + 1", Peng Xiuhui released her first personal stage work "Tiffany" in 2012, which was premiered in Shouchen theatre of Hong Kong Art Center with only 12 performances. The first performance was on October 12.
In May 2017, the film 29 + 1, written and directed by Peng Xiuhui and co starred by Zhou xiuna and Zheng Xinyi, won four nominations at nice International Film Festival. In the end, Peng Xiuhui defeated 12 opponents from all over the world and won the best director award of foreign language film.
