Character evaluation
Yan Jizhou has a constant working habit for many years, which is well-known among filmmakers. That is to say, after shooting a film, he has to go to three different cinemas in person to listen to the real reactions of different audiences to his films (Sichuan online review). He is a film director with thoughts, diligent thinking and lifelong exploration. In the process of exploring and understanding films and directing films, he gradually formed his own unique film ideas, and through publishing articles one after another, he conveyed them in simple words sporadically and continuously. At the same time, Yan Jizhou constantly practices his film ideas in his film creation, and imprints his film ideas in his film images with his understanding of film and his perception of art. Moreover, he has "three stricts" in his artistic creation, namely, strict selection of actors, strict self-discipline, and strict requirements for artistic creation.
