Character evaluation
Shen Keshang's film creation covers three fields: plot, documentary and experimental film. Family life and family relationship have become his favorite themes in his film creation. In the documentary children of a distant planet, director Shen Keshang tells the story of "the mystery of autism" in an easy way. In the documentary nesting man, the narrative rhythm and atmosphere of the film appear gentle and calm. However, the director Shen Keshang does not present it as a film that purely shows the warmth of father and son. Under the gentle rhythm of the film, there are all kinds of undercurrents and lingering despair and gloom. With Shen Keshang's excellent editing and the use of various plot techniques, the audience can feel the fate of father and son (surging news, Netease Entertainment comprehensive review).
