Ye JUANJUAN

Ye JUANJUAN, born in 1908, joined Shanghai Haifeng film company in 1928 and starred in Zhaojun's leaving the fortress.

Born in 1908, he joined Shanghai Haifeng film company in 1928 and starred in Zhaojun leaving the fortress. In 1929, he was an actor of Jinan film company. In 1930, he starred in "beauty island" in Shanghai film company. In 1931, he was an actor in Lianhua film company. In 1934, he joined Yihua film company and starred in "heroes of the times" and other films. In 1935, he played in the sound film "escape" and stopped filming. On the second day of the first month of 1936 (January 25), he attempted suicide. After rescue, he was in poor condition. The next year (1937), he died of poverty and disease in Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital. He was only 29 years old.
