Wang Yajun
Wang Yajun, male, Han nationality, born in December 1969 in Anhui, joined the Communist Party of China in July 1991. He graduated from the Foreign Affairs College with a university degree and a double bachelor's degree. In August 1991, he worked in the foreign affairs institute.
He was Vice Minister of the external liaison department of the CPC Central Committee.

In June 1993, he served as secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Foreign Affairs College and deputy director of the Asia Pacific Research Center, and deputy editor in chief of think tank magazine.
Since June 1995, he has successively served as secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Ministry of foreign affairs, director of the Youth Affairs Office of the Party committee of the Ministry of foreign affairs, first Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Belgium, first Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in the European Union, and Deputy Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Strasbourg, France.
In September 2004, he served as director of the office of economic diplomacy and cooperation of the Ministry of foreign affairs.
Since June 2005, he has served as counsellor and deputy director of the Policy Research Department of the Ministry of foreign affairs.
In March 2008, he served as minister counsellor and Minister of the people's Republic of China mission to the European Union, and later as director of the Policy Research Bureau of the Central Foreign Affairs Office of the people's Republic of China.
In July 2015, he served as director of the policy planning department of the Ministry of foreign affairs.
In July 2016, he served as Assistant Minister of the joint Department of the CPC Central Committee.
In January 2018, he served as vice minister of the joint Department of the CPC Central Committee (until 2021).
