artistic works
Mr. Sun Zhenyu loves art, especially calligraphy. Influenced by the contemporary artist Gu Gan, he has invested great enthusiasm and efforts in the creation, research and promotion of Chinese character art. the art of Chinese characters is a general term for all kinds of art based on Chinese characters. It is also an art that all kinds of art or art forms can express and participate in creation, both concrete and abstract. The art of Chinese characters is not only an art of intention, but also an oriental abstract art.
Others' evaluation
To appreciate Mr. Sun Zhenyu's works of Chinese character art, we have to talk about characters. as an indispensable tool to record and transmit historical events, express personal feelings and convey each other's information, words have become an indispensable tool for human beings. The cuneiform characters of the two river basins, the hieroglyphics of ancient Egypt, the Mayan characters of America, the oracle bone inscriptions of China and the seal characters of ancient India have left us important historical materials and precious spiritual wealth for the study of history and the prospect of the future. the evolution of Chinese characters is generally based on the current standard of "jiajinli Zhuan caohkai Xing", which is often referred to as "seven styles of Chinese characters". From the oracle bone inscriptions in the late Shang Dynasty in the 14th century B.C. to the great seal script in the late Western Zhou Dynasty, it laid the foundation for the transformation from the graphical oracle bone inscriptions to the square shaped ones. After the Qin Dynasty unified its territory, a series of reforms stipulated Xiaozhuan as official characters. However, in the folk, for the convenience of writing, the round and uniform lines required by Xiaozhuan were simplified into Lishu with turning and punctuation. The process of official changes from seal script to official script formed the dividing line of ancient and modern Chinese characters and established the writing style of Chinese characters. After the form of Chinese characters was established, the six books explained by Xu Shen in Shuowen Jiezi further explained the origin, structure and inductive method of Chinese characters. It said: "Zhou Li entered primary school at the age of eight. Bao taught the son of the state with six books. One is to point out the matter: the person who points out the matter can be identified by looking at it, can be seen by observing it, and can be seen from above and below. Second, pictograph: pictograph, painted into its object, with the body, the sun, the moon is also. Three, pictophonetic: pictophonetic person, in the name of things, take analogy to each other, river, river is also. The fourth is understanding: those who understand are more friendly than others, so that they can see the meaning of "Wu" and "Xin". Five, Zhuanzhu: Zhuanzhu, Jianlei a song, agree with each other, test, always also. The sixth is to borrow: the person who borrows does not have his own words. According to his voice, he entrusts things to make and grow. When the system of Liushu was established, all the new characters reconstructed were based on this system. We can not only see the evolution of Chinese characters, but also know the development of Chinese characters from pictograph and imagery. We can also use images and strokes to express the fact of Chinese characters. Mr. Sun Zhenyu is a scholar painter who has been studying Chinese characters for a long time. He not only knows that Chinese characters are different from other characters, but also takes advantage of the ideographic characteristics of Chinese characters. Every Chinese character can be used as a medium to express his own heart. Thus, he has created a large number of paintings with Chinese characters as the picture elements, and is named "Chinese character art" by him. Drawing things is human instinct and the most direct way to make characters. The inexhaustible literary heritage left by our ancestors is the main source of the author's image. Through the different combinations of oracle bone inscriptions, inscriptions on gold and inscriptions on grass and Li, according to the basic principle of pictograph as Chinese characters, the Chinese characters have a space perspective effect and a sense of history. In order to increase the heavy effect of the picture, and strive to coordinate the text with the background of the times, the use of the words at that time to adjust the picture, bold attempt in the use of color, in the search for the heart of that piece of history flaking wantonly, exploring the distant call, this is a new exploration of the conflict between the author's inner passion and the picture, the picture makes contemporary people's perspective closer to the ancient text The distance of Ming. In the use of ink writing and color ink integration, the combination of the center of calligraphy pen and color operation into a set of "ink color" and rhyme writing method. It not only has the contemporary color, but also establishes the abstract beauty of Chinese calligraphy. The work "forest through the sunshine" is to write and arrange the wood and forest of oracle bone inscriptions freely, showing the rich combination of colors in the morning light, and depicting a dreamlike picture according to the law of Chinese pictograph. writing carries Tao, which is the expression of the view of life in the present world and the way of life that can be analyzed and used for reference in comparison with history. It uses written records to convey unique views to people who have consensus, or to discover their own heart and inspire others' minds. Chinese characters written in series not only make the article complete in narration, but also make us consider the use of each character in the chapter. At the same time, the meaning of each Chinese character can also fully convey the user's thoughts. Mr. Sun Zhenyu borrows the meaning of a single Chinese character to express the spiritual connotation of Chinese civilization in terms of the ideological essence of "benevolence, righteousness, reason, wisdom and faith" advocated by Confucianism. In writing and combining with the image of Shenrui in the Han Dynasty, it shows the author's critical attitude towards today's social reality. This series of works called "you me spirit" fully illustrates the author's social consciousness and gives the audience more social thinking. the summary and use of words only gives us an extra place to put our thoughts and actions in this virtual and real space for summary and examination, or to be found by others for reference in the future. It's like a tired traveler finding a rest station, resting his body and mind, and then moving on. Everything in the world is always changing, our heart is always deeply affected by the outside world, constantly like the catkins of spring, I don't know where to go, the spirit relies only on the history we carry, from which we can see our past, experience the current real society, and look forward to the distant future world. In the seemingly fixed style of writing and the art style that moves with one's heart, Mr. Sun Zhenyu walks in the long and vast cultural river with a quiet attitude, constantly discovering the charm of ancient culture and expressing his views on reality. Absorbing the strength he needs in this "Chinese character post station" that stores ancient experience and stimulates new stories, there will be more beautiful and inspiring Chinese characters Word art works came out.
