Cha Shan was admitted to the Department of mechanical engineering of Tsinghua University in 2000. As an engineering male, he has a strong interest in imaging. In 2006, he directed the 102 minute DV long film "moyao Flying Southeast", which was released in the auditorium of Tsinghua University.
