Jin Rongxun

Yong Hoon Kim, born in Korea on November 22, 1981, is a Korean director and playwright.

In 2020, he directed the suspense thriller beasts at the straw, which was shortlisted for the tiger award of the 49th Rotterdam International Film Festival, and won the special nomination award of the 22nd Udine Far East Film Festival and the special honor of the tiger award of the 49th Rotterdam International Film Festival.

In 2020, he directed the suspense thriller "beasts catching the straw", which is adapted from Zeng genguijie's novel of the same name. The unique feature of the film "beasts at the straw" is its exquisite structure. At the beginning of the film, the three narrative clues seem to be unrelated, but about half an hour later, the three clues begin to crisscross, the scattered plot is straightened out, the suspense and reversal affect people's hearts, and the accumulated energy bursts at the end of the film.
