Character evaluation
Hu Peng is a very intentional actor. The stage image she created has its own distinctive artistic characteristics: real, moving, rich in the flavor of life and full of the flavor of the times. On the way of drama performing art, she always adheres to the realistic creation method and firmly believes in the Marxist Leninist aesthetic principle that "life is the inexhaustible source of artistic creation". She attaches great importance to observing life, constantly exploring people's inner activities, collecting creative materials anytime and anywhere, and storing image memory. She insists on going deep into life for a long time and staying with the people. Her revolutionary and fighting life fostered her, and her artistic characteristics and style in performance gradually formed in this way. In the drama children soldiers and common people, Hu Peng has a profound experience of the characters' life and feelings. She can truly live in the prescribed situation of the characters, and through her vivid body movements, she can clearly reveal the complex feelings of the grandmother she plays at this moment (comprehensive review of contemporary TV and drama daily).
