Sports career
Valentino Rossi is an outstanding representative of motorcycle racing all over the world. He is one of the most successful racing drivers in modern sports history. The fact is that simple. It took Rossi only nine seasons to win six titles, while Michael Schumacher, a German F1 driver, took 13. Rosie can jump into any car and drive faster than anyone else. Even a motorcycle reporter with 30 years of experience has to marvel at his extraordinary talent.
When he first entered the 125cc Junior Competition in 1996, 16-year-old Rossi, who was only a child, only spent a little more than half a season to win a series of Championships. Of course, there were some low-level accidents during this period, but it is understandable for a young man who has not even reached the legal age to drink champagne on the podium. Winning the title in August is so amazing that he will reach the world level soon after the end of October.
In 1998, 18-year-old Rosie rose to another group. Entering the 250cc group, he remained with Italy's aprillia team and once again won a series of races in the first season and the championship in the second.
But for Rossi, winning is not everything. His forever smile has attracted countless eyes from all over the world, and the celebration planned by his Italian friends after the game can also attract a lot of attention for him. When he won the Barcelona race in 1998, one of his friends dressed up as a huge chicken jumped into the back of his car and walked around the track with him. In the rules and regulations of the Grand Prix, it is explicitly prohibited to carry another person on the back seat of the car, and violators will be punished by the organizing committee. As a result, Rossi said, "but that's not another person, it's just a chicken." the selfless officials couldn't help laughing and had to persuade him to abide by the rules in the future. But after a few games, he did it again, this time his friend disguised himself as an angel. From then on, the competition control center simply went with him and didn't bother to ask him to go to the office again.
In 2000, he jumped into the biggest and best car in the world -- the 500cc Honda. In the first few races, he seemed to have some difficulty driving the car, but as he had done in the 125cc and 250cc levels, he finally won the first race in the middle of the season and won the championship in the following year.
Now, he has become a hero, so red that he can't walk on the streets of his hometown. He had to move to London, where the popularity of motorcycle racing was far less than that of football and F1. But soon, Rossi realized that he was not only a hero in Italy, but also a hero in people's minds in the 16 cities he traveled with the Grand Prix.
He had to be escorted by security guards to rush past the VIP stands of the circuit, where thousands of spectators were eager to get his signature. Fame may be accompanied by endless money, a leisurely retreat in a Swiss Villa, or a house in Monaco next to movie stars and top models. Instead, he bought a house in Ibiza, the party capital of Europe. It was full of sunshine, sand beaches and nightclubs. When there was no competition, he and his friends left their hometown in Italy and came here for a holiday.
However, once back on the track, he wanted to prove that it was his ability, not his powerful engine, that enabled him to thrive as a Honda driver. So, at the beginning of 2004, he signed Yamaha team. This team has not won the championship since 1992, and even in the 21st century, there is no champion at all. Everyone thought that it would take him a while to get a mid-range team to the podium and win three races in the first season.
But people are wrong. In the first game of the 2004 season, he took the lead, and the rest of the players had to work hard to catch up. But they didn't catch up. Rossi has won 10 of 16 games. Past records have been forgotten. The former champion walked quietly from the VIP seat of the Grand Prix, and the new generation of fans only saw Rossi. He is a very elegant person who is not in the car, but once he gets on the car, he will turn into Tiger Woods or David Beckham on the track. Rossi's momentum is stronger than the fast-growing sport he's been involved in. Indeed, he has been the driving force behind the movement in recent years.
