Xia Xing (1958 -) from Beijing. He graduated from Jin Shangyi studio of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1988 and is now a professional painter. In 1991, he graduated from the French realist painter Claude ivel oil painting materials and techniques research class. He has participated in International Youth Art Exhibition, Chinese oil painting exhibition and other large-scale exhibitions at home and abroad. "Pigeon" won the bronze award of International Youth Art Exhibition. He joined Chinese realistic painting school in 2005.

Art introduction

In today's realistic painting, the most indispensable vocabulary foundation is the objective language with contemporary strong pragmatic spirit recorded and expressed by the lens, which started from western modern science. Modernity alienates humanistic spirit, and pragmatic living method makes people have no illusion. This is the real reason why I advocate and stay away from the objective language in realistic painting. I think of an old painter who painted a "portrait of beauty" on the front wall of his family hall when his wife was pregnant, saying that his wife always looks good, and she must be beautiful when she is pregnant. In my opinion, this is the right way in realistic painting. We should attach importance to editing, despise sketching, emphasize the feeling of fantasy, get rid of the light and shade, stay away from the lens, and promote the "Humanistic" attitude. This is China's new realistic approach.
