Chen Yingxin

Chen Yingxin, female, born and raised in Hong Kong, is a "post-80s generation". She graduated from high school and studied economics and finance at HKU. She also studied law at the University of London. She believes that there are always many places in a society that need to be improved, where the public are dissatisfied, or where the government is not doing well. The correct attitude should not only blame, but also suggest and change.

Chen Yingxin, a "little flower" of the Federation of trade unions, successfully defeated Feng Jianji, a Legislative Council member of the Democratic Association of the people's Republic of China (ADPL), who has been in the district for many years, by a margin of 99 votes, 2531 to 2432, which means that Feng Jianji can not compete for re-election, and his dream of being a "super District member" of the Legislative Council in 2016 is shattered. Huang Zhongqi, a former member of the Association for democracy and people's livelihood in the same district, lost the election by 215 votes.

He is now a member of the all China Federation of youth, Hong Kong Council.

Important events

In the District Council election, the result of Lige constituency was revealed. Chen Yingxin, the first candidate of the Federation of trade unions, "Xiaohua", defeated Feng Jianji, a Legislative Council member of the opposition "bigwig" Association for democracy and people's livelihood (ADPL), who has been in the district for many years, by a margin of 99 votes, 2531 votes to 2432 votes, which means that Feng Jianji can't compete for re-election. Chen Yingxin pointed out that before the election, he did not think much about it. Seeing that some areas in the community needed to be improved, he went to make suggestions and follow up. The biggest driving force for her to run for the election is the support of her neighbors, promising not to let them down, and stressing that she has always been dedicated to serving the grassroots community. As for the advantages she has over Feng Jianji, who is running for re-election, Chen Yingxin believes that the most important thing for her to do regional work is to stay in the district frequently. "Daily meeting with neighbors is the most basic requirement.".

Political initiatives

Lige is a traditional old district. Chen Yingxin pointed out that it's time to inject young people's strength and new thinking. She is willing to help residents solve problems faster and better. Therefore, "new hope" is her campaign slogan. She hopes to bring new hope to the community by virtue of her youth's hard work and vitality. She also stressed that every vote of the voters is very important, and she will win the support of every neighborhood, win the trust of each other with her platform and achievements, and let them know that she has the ability and commitment.

She added that problems such as wood lice and insufficient water pressure have existed in Lige district for many years, but they have not been properly dealt with for a long time. She once personally went to the residents' houses to catch psyllids, and was named "psyllid Wang Xin" by the neighbors. As for the aging of water pipes in the area and the insufficient water pressure in the top and high-rise units, Chen Yingxin said that in mid August, she arranged plumbers to go upstairs to measure the water pressure and found that the water pressure in some units was not enough to start the gas stove. She earlier set up the "focus on the water pressure of all housing units in Hong Kong Alliance" and asked the housing department to install pressurized water pumps for the area.
