Huang Peiji, male, born in 1936 in Chengxi village, Shexian County, is the executive director and Deputy Secretary General of the Marine Society of Shandong Province.
Huang Peiji (1936 ~) researcher. In 1961, he graduated from the Department of Oceanography, Shandong Ocean University, majoring in physical oceanography, and was assigned to work in the fourth Naval Research Institute. He has been engaged in wave theory and engineering application research. As one of the persons in charge, he led the work of the "Western Pacific wave numerical prediction method battle group" organized by the State Oceanic Administration, and proposed the "single parameter ocean spectral model" which won the science and technology award of the State Oceanic Administration in 1978; and he presided over the research of "observation and research of shallow sea waves and wave forces" which won the second prize of the science and technology achievement of the State Oceanic Administration in 1981. From 1987 to 1990, he undertook the project "observation and Research on the interaction between waves and vertical buildings" supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His achievements have reached the international advanced level. He is the director of China Society of Oceanography, executive director and Deputy Secretary General of Shandong society of Oceanography.
