At the age of seven, he went to school with his father in Qingdao. In 1951, his father died of illness and returned to his hometown. After graduating from high school in 1952, he was admitted to Yexian No.2 Middle School. After graduating from junior high school in 1955, he was enrolled as a planning major of Beijing Industrial Management School. Because of his father's early death, his widowed mother had difficulty raising six brothers and sisters, and his family was in great distress. They have to give up their studies for the sake of their families and their siblings. As a private teacher in the village. After three years, due to outstanding work, he was absorbed as a CPC member and became a formal public teacher in 1959. He has been a teacher in many primary schools in Pinglidian town since 1960. He worked as a teacher in shizhulian Middle School of Pinglidian town after 1972. After 1980, he served as the director of Shizhu United middle school in Pinglidian town. He was the principal of Shizhu United middle school in 1982. During this period, the education front restored the examination system. In 1988, he was transferred to Pinglidian adult education center as president. since his retirement in 1988.

Main achievements

In 1983-84, the highest enrollment rate of the whole town was created, making the enrollment rate of the whole town among the top. In 1983, he founded a village run high school in Shizhu, and one of his students, Zhang Baijiang, was admitted to Qingdao Medical College. He became the only model of a village run high school in the county who was admitted to a university. Zhang Baijiang is now the director of general surgery of Shandong cancer hospital. At this stage, he helped and guided Yang Jiansong, Xu Chunyi, Yang Junshan, Yang Jianju and other rural children to enter universities and become national cadres. Yang Jiansong and Xu Chunyi work in the Department of finance of Shandong Province. Yang Junshan is deputy director of Political Work Department of Qingdao port group. They have made positive contributions to the rural children's going out of the countryside. in 1988, when he was the principal of Pinglidian Adult Education Center, he made efforts to build the school into an advanced school in the city through three years. In 1993, on behalf of Shandong Province, he received the inspection from the leaders of the Adult Education Department of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China, and was praised. In 1994, he provided the scene for the on-site meeting of adult education organized by Shandong Provincial Department of education and exchanged experience with the whole province. At the same time, he wrote an article for the book "100 outstanding principals talk about education" published by Yantai Education Bureau, and was interviewed by the national "Liaoyuan Information Daily" and published a paper entitled "my opinion on Rural Adult Education" in the same year. Since the first teacher's day, he has been awarded the title of "advanced educator" in Laizhou City for eight consecutive years.
