Chen Lu
Chen Lu, born in Shandong Province, received a bachelor's degree from the English Department of Peking University in 1988 and a master's degree in linguistics from the English Department of Peking University in 1991. In 1993, he went to the United States to study psychology. In 1998, he received a doctorate in cognitive and developmental psychology from New York University. He has been a member of the American Psychological Society, the American Society for child development studies, the New York Academy of Sciences, the East American Psychological Society, and the Japanese Language Science Society.
Focus area
Chen Lu has been focusing on the teaching and scientific research of children's psychology for many years, especially the comparative study of children's development under different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. He has accumulated rich experience in close cooperation with many parents, and has broad international vision on how parents support children's growth.
