Liu Henan, born in Jixi, Heilongjiang Province, graduated from Shanghai drama academy as a performing actress in mainland China.
After graduation in 1993, he entered the central experimental theater and became a professional actor.
Early experience
Liu Henan entered Heilongjiang Jixi Peking Opera Troupe at the age of 10, specializing in Huadan. In 1989, she was admitted to Shanghai drama academy to perform drama.
