Gao Feng told him that "painting is the origin of the world, and no art can bring the subtlety that painting gives people". When she visited the painter for the second time, she explained her own philosophy about calligraphy to Gao Feng. Gao Feng cheerfully called her "master". When Ouyang Zhongshi came to Zibo, Shandong Province, she met a young calligrapher at that time. At that time, the two older people formed a good relationship and kept correspondence. Li e once said publicly: "Ouyang Zhongshi is no less advanced in her calligraphy than her father's guidance to him, not a teacher than a teacher.
