Wang Yalin

Wang Yalin, male, Chinese paratrooper, graduated from the military reconnaissance Department of the Institute of international relations of the Chinese people's Liberation Army (now Army Academy of special operations). Character experience

In 1999, China was invited to participate in special training courses for special forces from the United States, Italy and Venezuela.

In June 1999, the Chinese military received an invitation from the Venezuelan Ministry of defense to send personnel to participate in special training. After strict selection of swimming, shooting, equipment, physical fitness and English test, Hu Huaguo and Wang Yalin from China's ace special forces - Chinese paratroopers emerged. From August 20 to November 20, 1999, they participated in the 8th International Anti guerrilla special training held in Venezuela light cavalry school. In three months, 31 students from the United States, Italy, China and Venezuela eliminated 12. Hu Huaguo and Wang Yalin became the only two foreign soldiers who completed the cruel training.

In 1999, for the first time, China was invited to participate in a three-month special training with special forces from the United States, Italy and Venezuela.

Hu Huaguo and Wang Yalin, who graduated from the military reconnaissance Department of the Institute of international relations of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, were strictly selected as special forces of the Chinese airborne troops for training. During the training period, all trainees will become international anti-terrorism fighters with no names and only codes. Huhuaguo is number 8 and Wang Yalin is number 2. On the morning of August 19, 1999, 31 special forces from China, the United States, Italy and Venezuela gathered in the playground. Due to the injury, Wang Yalin often lagged behind others in the 15 km armed march in the next few days and was severely "punished". He and several backward cadets climbed from the hillside full of puddles and rocks to the restaurant. The laggards are not allowed to eat, they have to climb back the same way. Although Wang Yalin did his best, he was still at the end. He understood that he could not even eat 100 grams of spinach per meal, but he still climbed to the restaurant and completed the 300 meters climb from humiliation to dignity. There are no martyrs, only heroes

Hu Hua's experience is even more unfortunate. In the first day of physical training, he has been injured in many places and collapsed seriously. Late at night, the instructor took him and two foreign students to the field. Before they woke up, several high-pressure water guns sprayed cold water on them. Two hours later, their body temperature gradually dropped, their blood was cooling, and their consciousness was blurred. Finally, the two foreign students fell down. Huhua is still standing. The instructor refused to give up, and the high-pressure water dragon continued to spray fiercely at Hu Hua

When the dawn came, the cold Hu Huaguo had no sense of walking. He wanted to climb to the restaurant for breakfast, but the instructor ordered him to take part in 10 round-trip 100 meter sprint with other students. When Hu Huaguo ran to the third lap, he sprained his left foot and finally fell down. After diagnosis, the patient suffered from fatigue injury of the joint and needed to be hospitalized for one month. The "Hunter" who came to visit said softly, "you can be hospitalized. The training can stop." Hu Huaguo knows that hospitalization for more than 48 hours will be eliminated. He looked at the "Hunter" and said firmly: "I will return to the team tomorrow to participate in training."

The unyielding Hu Huaguo took part in the swimming training the next day. A small boat carried him to the middle of the river. The instructor pushed him into the river and ordered him to swim 1000 meters against the current. The instructor stood in the bow of the boat, holding a penny in his hand and following him. As long as Hu Huaguo raised his head, the penny would press him into the water. He went up against the current, ups and downs. Several times he really wanted to sink forever, and several times he really wanted to seize the lifebuoy at the stern of the boat. Finally, he insisted, because he knew that there were no martyrs here, only living heroes.

Hu Huaguo swam up the river bank. Just as he stood firm, the instructor asked him to carry a 60 kilogram mortar on his back and force the army for 15 kilometers. This time he fell down again and was admitted to the hospital for the second time.

A month's intensive training is cruel, even "inhuman". Some foreign students with high morale retreated. A foreign marine fell from the high and low bed on purpose when he was sleeping, causing a thigh fracture and escaping the training life he called "death zone". Except for Wang Yalin and Hu Hua, who lives in the hospital, all foreign students were eliminated and returned home.

The American flag falls quietly, and the Italian flag no longer rises. On the flagpole of the school playground, only the national flag of China and the national flag of Venezuela, the host country, are flying high.

Chinese soldiers are great

One night in the middle of October, the instructor sent Wang Yalin to an uninhabited island in a motorboat, gave him a machete and a fishhook, and drove away.

It was the rainy season in Venezuela at this time. The bad weather, heavy rain, hunger and poisonous insects attacked him in turn, forcing him to the edge of mental breakdown. Wang Yalin wanted to dig wild vegetables to satisfy his hunger and go fishing in the river, but two days later, he got nothing, and despair began to climb to his heart. On the third day, when he staggered to the river to drink water, he suddenly thought: there should be snails in the river! He rushed to the river eagerly, stepped on it with his feet, and used a hand model. For four hours, he finally found the first snails. In the next three days, he found 20 snails, and thus maintained six days of field survival training

Three months later, Wang Yalin finally finished 38 subjects with excellent results and won five first places. After Hu Huaguo was injured and hospitalized for the second time, the school informed the military officer Office of the Chinese Embassy in Venezuela to persuade him to withdraw from the training and return home.
