Li Jie, female, born in Beijing in 1958, was admitted to the Fourth Military Medical University of Xi'an after graduating from middle school.
Personal life
Li Jie is the granddaughter of Dong Qiwu, a famous PLA General.
In January 1979, Li Jie and queji jianzan, the 10th Panchen Lama, held a formal wedding ceremony in Beijing National Culture Palace, which was witnessed by Xia ronghabu, a living Buddha in Qinghai Province. Zhang Aiping, Yang Dezhi and other central government dignitaries attended the wedding, as well as a Pei, a Wang Jinmei and Zhao Puchu. After marriage, Li Jie is not only the wife of Panchen master, but also his secretary. The daughter of Panchen and Li Jie is Yaoxi ban renjiwangm. Since then, the tenth Panchen strictly abided by the Gelug Sect's commandments in Tibetan Buddhism. From then on, he no longer wore cassock as a monk, but only wore luxurious Tibetan robes. Even if he participated in major religious activities, he did not avoid having a wife.
