brief introduction
Wang Letian (1969 -), on November 22, 2003, an electric power worker named Wang Letian, wearing Hanfu, walked on the street of Zhengzhou. This is the first person in modern China to wear Hanfu.
Wang Letian's Hanfu is composed of two parts: a thin cashmere deep coat and a cocoon silk coat. Different from the long gown and mandarin jacket, the Hanfu has no coil buttons or metal buttons, and is fixed with a tie. Although this Han suit is simple and even a bit out of shape, it was sewn by Wang Letian and his friends. These like-minded men even set up a studio. They checked literature, searched for regulations, and even clumsily picked up the sewing needle. Some people pierced their fingers, but they enjoyed it.
Deeds
On that day, Wang Letian was walking in Zhengzhou City in his Hanfu. But when he passed a shopping mall and passed the corner of the pedestrian street, although some people laughed at him and others didn't understand him, Wang Letian walked calmly through the crowd and walked on the most prosperous street in Zhengzhou. This line has strengthened his determination to promote Hanfu. He hopes to use his limited strength to influence others.
Soon, a lot of photos of Wang Letian wearing Hanfu appeared on the Internet. It was windy that day, and his hair was a little messy, but elegant and full of ancient Chinese style. Zhang Congxing, a reporter of Lianhe Zaobao in Singapore, happened to see these photos and wrote a report based on them. This article became the first article on Hanfu, which attracted wide attention from the media at home and abroad. As a result, Wang Letian's move was widely spread and received support and response from many people, and set off a wave of revival of Hanfu across the country.
history
During the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, the rulers of the Manchu Qing Dynasty forced all the nationalities under their rule to change their hairstyles and dress by means of "cutting off those who do not follow". From the violent repression in the early Qing Dynasty to the subtle influence in the Kangxi period and after the Kangxi period, this policy had a significant impact on the later Chinese hairstyles and costumes. In the Republic of China, some small-scale revival of Hanfu began to show its edge: Zhang Taiyan liked to wear a cross collar garment with the word "Han" embroidered on the front chest, which was the first person of Hanfu in modern times; Xia Zhenwu Shufa Shenyi, Qian Xuantong with xuanduan office, Zhang Daqian with wide robes and big sleeves traveled to Europe; in 1914, seven kinds of national etiquette were promulgated, including Xuanyi Mian mourning clothes. Li Shutong's sacrifice to Confucius, Qufu's group photo of Confucius, Yuan Shikai's sacrifice to heaven and other photos can prove the influence of Hanfu in the period of the Republic of China.
