Sun Kuan, male, was born in Suzhou in 1969, Han nationality. Member of China Artists Association, first class artist, member of fine arts Working Committee of Youth Federation of Ministry of culture, MFA. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Suzhou University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and then studied landscape in the Department of traditional Chinese painting of China Academy of fine arts. He is now vice chairman of Suzhou Artists Association and vice president of Suzhou Academy of traditional Chinese painting.

Sun Kuan, Han nationality, was born in Suzhou in 1969. Member of China Artists Association, first class artist, member of fine arts Working Committee of Youth Federation of Ministry of culture, MFA. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Suzhou University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and then studied landscape in the Department of traditional Chinese painting of China Academy of fine arts. He is now vice chairman of Suzhou Artists Association and vice president of Suzhou Academy of traditional Chinese painting. his works have participated in more than 30 exhibitions sponsored by China Artists Association and won more than 10 awards. Beauty of form -- about sun Kuan and landscape painting
Like people, sun Kuan's paintings are extremely elegant. Like a small creation, sun Kuan retains all the elements that keep the southern world in balance and beauty. On the stone table is a bottle of ancient plum blossom, which is inserted in an ancient copper bottle with a little rusty green on it. Bamboo leaves are still, and plantains don't have to listen to the rain. The dreary mood brought by torrential rain will break the balance of light clouds and light winds. In order to create a courtyard world without any loopholes, sun Kuan also excluded people. The courtyard and its corners are vacant, from the perspective of a peeper. I saw a crane standing on the stone bridge above the water. It may not be watching, and strangely keeps a certain distance from sun Kuan's world. Sun Kuan never allowed vulgar objects to appear in his pictures. I imagined that three or two of them might appear. Yunniang and her husband in six chapters of a floating life. Yunniang likes to mix sesame oil with sugar, mash pickled melons with pickled rotten vegetables, and her husband, "they pursue beauty, quiet and comfortable life.". Two ordinary elegant people, who have no special achievements in the world, have nothing to do with the world. Sun Kuan's garden world is suitable for yunniang and his wife to live in their early years. Later, they were more or less tragic, although the tragedy came from a reason that still had aesthetic feeling - the conflict between the nature of loving beauty and reality. But in sun Kuan's paintings, tragedy is not allowed to happen. Another person is Zhang Ailing. Zhang Ailing has such a poem: tortuous fleeting time, deep courtyard, empty room basking in the sun, has become the ancient sun. I'll keep running in and yell, "here I am! Here I am She kept shouting, but no one answered her. this poem appears in Hu Lancheng's article on Zhang Ailing and the left. It is probably a love poem written by Zhang Ailing to Hu at that time. But it is not included in Zhang's anthology. This is a desolate poem. I don't think desolation is directly related to sun Kuan's world, but in some of sun Kuan's paintings, a detail betrays another aspect of sun Kuan's garden world.
