In school, she was among the best in vocal music examination every year, and participated in all kinds of performances and competitions on behalf of the school.

In this way, she wants to repay her teachers and alma mater and let the outside world know her strength when she is about to graduate. With the help of Miss Zhang and others, she and another good friend Hu Tingting successfully held her first solo concert at Liandu Convention Center on June 4, 2005. The concert was accompanied by piano from the beginning to the end, which is undoubtedly a big challenge for the singer, but the bursts of applause at the concert confirmed the strength of the mountain girl.

The success of the concert prompted the music crazy girl to work harder, and then she represented Lishui University to participate in the second Lishui youth singer competition. Finally, she won the silver award by a narrow margin, and was also rated as the outstanding graduate of Lishui University in 2005.

After graduation, she returned to Songyang, the hometown where she was born and raised. In April 2006, she participated in the CCTV national young singers TV Grand Prix, won the silver award of Lishui competition area, and represented Lishui in the provincial finals. In June of that year, she took part in the first youth singer competition held by Huijin real estate, conquering the audience and judges with her wonderful singing, and won the championship.

But she is not satisfied with her present honor. She wants to go out and think of Beijing, the capital of culture, to realize her dream. I learned that in August this year, there was an international vocal and instrumental music competition "love you, me and him, green dream" held by the talent exchange center of SARFT. With the dream in her heart, she stepped on the train to Beijing. In this competition, after the online preliminary and on-site semi-final, 100 contestants were selected to participate in the final. Liu Jinyan, the golden phoenix flying out of the ravine, finally won the gold medal of the national vocal music youth group with her calm singing and superb skills!
