Li Hui
Li Hui, male, Han nationality, born in February 1953 in Heilongjiang Province, graduated from Beijing Institute of foreign languages.
He was ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the people's Republic of China to the Russian Federation. He is now the special representative of the Chinese government on Eurasian Affairs.

Appointment and removal information
On September 12, 2019, according to the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, relieved Li Hui from the post of ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Russian Federation. on December 5, 2019, the founding ceremony of the Russian Academy of Tsinghua University and the Summit Forum on strategic cooperation between China and Russia in the new era were held in the reception hall of the main building. Ambassador Li Hui, special representative of the Chinese government on Eurasian Affairs, attended the ceremony.
Honors
On October 25, 2018, the Russian Academy of foreign affairs awarded an honorary doctorate to Chinese ambassador to Russia Li Hui. on May 13, 2019, President Putin of the Russian Federation signed an order granting the Li Hui Medal of friendship to ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the people's Republic of China to the Russian Federation.
